my blood story

           The blood story

It was a winter morning, wind was blowing, snow falling and the most terrible thing happened. I got hit by a car. I know you will be wondering how I got hit by a car.  Well it happened on a November morning in 1999. I was in the snow playing  and then my mum (kate) called me and so i had to go.  Then the terrible thing happened.  I got hit and there was blood all by my leg. That was the time I knew i broke my leg so I called out to mum  “Help I broke my leg!” like 5 times and then  she heard me.  He came running out and went  to the man well can you explain how this happened and why you did  this to my son . so after they had that talk she took me to the hospital and it was so bad I have to have surgery on my leg and I felt  so sad i cried and i felt mad at that man but it was my fault for crossing the road without looking both ways . I am out of surgery  but I woke up 10 minutes  after the surgery and i felt sore but atlese I get to keep my leg.

When I got home I had tea what I had for tea was Mcdonalds because mum thought we could  buy tea  instead of cooking so I was so thankful that she was there all night and taking care of me all  through the trouble I had in the hospital. I can not go to school for 2 weeks and 2 days so it heals properly and I break it again. Now I feel happy that i am back home in bed so now I can sleep with peace and quiet and I am so cuffey  now ,that hospital  bed was hard and I got a sore back  and a neck then. That is how I broke my leg.

The best part about me

My arm is the best part about me because  i can defend myself and get more stronger . It can help me with things like picking up things,lifting,eating,writing,turning things, holding , typing and unraping lollies and other thngs.My arm is full of bones and meat and on the outside of my arm is skin which has 7 layers so when i scrap my arm it heals up in a couple of days. It does a lot of thing that you can not do if you don’t have arm but i really like my arms. It affects people because when you punch someone it hurts them and it hurts us because when we break our arm the it hurt and you have to go to the doctors. so that is why it is the best part about me.

Production

Here are some of the photos of our Production. We are doing Maui fishes up the nouth island. There are Poi e and Aotearoa  and acting and I am in all of them.

Holiday

We are in the room getting change into warm clothes and our gumboots on as well. We are going through the gate and climbing. We are half way. What was my favorite part at the farm?

We are talking on the way about if we should roll down or not so we decided to roll down. I am saying we are nelly there.  It is so tiring  because the hill is so big but smooth. We are at the top  and getting ready. WEEEE this is so fun. I am still rolling down the hill then i stopped.

I say we should go down again so  they said fine. Me, Paige and Jessie are going up to half way  because we don’t want  to go up to the top. Now we are rolling  down and it is wet.  we have finished .

My favorite part was rolling down the hill because    i had ever done it before and if was really fun ,wet and cold.

Herrick house

The Herrick House

My book  is called the dark herrick secret. I drew the picture because it goes with the title . The herrick house is broken because no one has lived in it for a long time and it has not been fixed yet. My cover looks scary so what type of audience would be suitable to read this book?

My book is about  a dark  secret   in the herrick house.   They  find the cellar  that is at the bottom of the  house and they find two people that are side by side and they are dead .  My picture  is dark  and scary  and that matches my story.

My title is up the top because I  liked it there and it stands out. I choose  the colours because  it  is a dark secret  I like that it’s scary.   I used a normal style because  then you can read it instead of not reading it properly .

The book is suitable for 8 and over because then people that are younger will be scared and have nightmares so that is why it is suitable.

Dear Lychel,

Thankyou for being our parent at camp.a  It was so nice that you helped us with cooking our food  so it taste yummy and it  totally did. You are the most kindest person ever.

My most favourite part  was the rock climbing.   Every parent said I was a  really fast monkey when I was  climbing those walls.

I nearly got to the top  but I didn’t because the walls got  harder and harder. The ones I nearly got to the top was the second  one, third one, fourth one,  fifth one and the sixth one. I loved  all of them.

I liked that you  came on  camp. You were very encouraging to our team. We all liked you as our parent on camp and thank you Lychell.

Richie McCaw

Richie McCaw is a famous Rugby player. He plays in the All blacks . He wears black and white  in his game.

Richie McCaw was born on 31 December 1980  in New Zealand. He was also in the canterbury. He started playing rugby in  1999.

He was selected for the all blacks in 2001 at the end of the  tour.

When Richie Mccaw is in the Crusaders his number was  eight  and he was the open side flanker (which helps to push the the scrum)  . When Richie was doing his training he injured  his foot in 2011.In 2009  Richie Mccaw was dating  a profesonal dancer and her name was Hayley Holt but they broke up.

The new coach Todd Blackadder, had a slow start to the season and  losing four of their first five games. Richie Mccaw became  the first all black to reach 100 test caps ( Which  Is 100 rugby caps).Along with Kieran Read and Richie McCaw led the All Blacks to a perfect season in 2013 and  winning 14 out of 14.

Richie Mccaw  is a really famous rugby player. Richie Mccaw injured  his foot. Richie Mccaw is in the Crusaders  which  you can call  Canterbury  as well.

Here is my report  I did about richie Mccaw. I know lots  about him and I did  some research about him.

My famous explorer, Jean batten

Jean is a famous explorer. Jean Batten was New Zealand's greatest aviator, and is celebrated around the world for her heroic solo flights during the 1930s.

Jean batten was born on September 5th  1909 in Rotorua.  She died in an hotel in   Majorca on 22 November  1982 because of a dog bite .  She lived in Rotorua for 4 years. When she was 4 years old she moved to Auckland with her parents and her two brothers that are older than she is.  She was the first to fly  from England  to New zealand .

                                                           

Jean batten broke 2 world records.  The word records are for  flying from England to New zealand  and flying from England  to  brazil. Her trip of 14 days and 22 hours beat the existing England to Australia record.

Jean batten lived in Rotorua for a little while and then moved to

Auckland when she turned 4 with her mum and dad and her 2 older brothers.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

The kindness boomerang

What I did for someone: Is when a little girl got pushed down on the field by a person  I helped her up. So I told the little girl to play with someone in her class.  Then I told the other  person  to play with  someone else  and he did.

What someone did for me: Is when Jessica helped me when Mary was yelling at me on the playground because I was talking to Dashana. Then Jessica stopped the yelling .  She never did it again and I was glad  .        

What is the kindness boomerang: The kindness boomerang is when you help someone that needs help. Then it carries on and on. Then it comes back to you at the end  .

Another thing I did for someone else: Is for my sister Paige.

I helped her  with Hannah that was being mean to her because she didn’t win the race. I told Hannah  to play  somewhere else.

Hi I am Nikitah Jardine and I am a sports person and I  love to teach people things on the computer and I like to help people out when they need help. I have 2 dogs 1 sister , 2 brothers and my mum and dad and  myself.  We come from New Zealand.

I want to be a digi leader, young leader or a sports pal.Why I want to be a digi leader is because I want to teach other people things that they want to know . Why I want to be a young leader because when people need help I want to help them  out. Why I want to be a sports pal because I want  to  teach other people games that they don’t know.
