Maths quesrions

 Here is my maths and I did 10 questions and I did it all.

I saw the water splashing.

I felt the cold water  crashing on me.

I felt scared to jump off.

I wondered if it was going to hurt.

I wondered if it was scary.

Question/Goal/ problem

What shape of container will hold the most weight ?

Hypothesis We have chosen a bowl because it will hold more weight because it is bigger.

Materials

Container filled with water, modelling clay, old coins

Method (What I did)

Create a boat out of modelling clay.

Fill the container with water.

Place the boat carefully onto the water so it floats.

One at a time , put coins carefully into the boat . Count how many coins are in the boat before it sinks.

Observation/ Analyse We put the shape into the water and put coins on it and it sink. I think it happened is because it was bigger on the sides and it sunk.

Conclusion  (What I discovered about floating/ sinking )

This is my science writing that our class did with room 20. 

Force

Hypothesis: the water will feel light  and it will stick to the side.

I predict that that the water will come out of the basket when you spin it.

Variables we must control:

Variables	Control
liquid	so  when you spin there will be the same amount of water in each bucket.
bucket	so the other person has the same thing you have.
body	you need to  control arms and legs..
arms	so you can not let go.

Method:

Results:

Was your prediction correct? no because I thought it will come out. What happened and why? What happened was it stayed  flat on the bottom of the bucket. Why because the air pushes  the water so it stays flat.

Mathletics

Reflection for mathletics:
Something I was pleased with was getting to do it better because I have not done it before.

I really enjoyed learning how to do the lines because I did not know how too do the lines.

Something I found hard was to form a leaf because you had to do it with lines.

Something that made me think was which line goes where

because I had not done the lines before.

Something I want to get better at is to get the square the right size.

(What can I do about it is to try more harder.)

My favourite thing about being in Room 16 in 2013 is learning more about computers

and making new best friends like Jessica,Nakita,Emma and Ellis.

Something I would like to do in term four is to do more gymnastic.

Something I would like to do next year is to do do touch rugby.
